Erica Mendez

As a Swedish & Puerto Rican (or as she likes to call it... Swedarican) actress, Erica is a Chicago native that has had performing in her bones since she was just 3 years old. If she wasn't going to tap, jazz, or hip-hop class, you could find her singing and performing made up scenes to herself in the mirror. Erica went on to continue dance training for 16 years, while studying voice at Merit School of Music. She landed her first professional job at the age of 11 with the American Girl Theatre Company, which confirmed her desire to pursue a career in acting. To broaden her knowledge and further augment her craft, she went to Millikin University where she received her BFA in Acting with a minor in Entrepreneurship. With that same fervor as that little girl performing in the mirror, Erica is determined to continue learning & is excited to take on new challenges in order to become a preeminent artist.
