Shayne Moore, M.A., is the author of five books with two forthcoming: Ending Human Trafficking: A Strategy for the Church Today (Intervarsity Press Academic, 2022) and Women@Halftime: A guide to reigniting dreams and finding renewed joy and purpose in your next season (Tyndale House, 2022). Shayne was Director of Operations at the Humanitarian Disaster Institute (HDL) at Wheaton College Graduate School. With a focus on anti human trafficking, Shayne taught the Anti Human Trafficking course for the HDL MA program. Shayne co-founded Redbud Writers Guild, NFP, and served the guild as the founder/visionary, president, vice president of Communications, and editor-in-chief of The Redbud Post. Her book, Refuse To Do Nothing: Finding Your Power to Abolish Modern Day Slavery (Intervarsity Press), received Resource of the Year, (Outreach Magazine, 2014). Her first book, Global Soccer Mom; Changing the World is Easier Than You Think (Zondervan), chronicles her work with the HIV/AIDS pandemic. With an MA in Theology, and with varied interests, Shayne holds a Certificate in the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television. Moore is also the Contributing Editor for Everbloom: Living Deeply Rooted and Transformed Lives, (Paraclete Press). Shayne has traveled the world broadly to see first-hand the realities of poverty and modern-day slavery and is a speaker on the topic of Human Trafficking. Bono, the lead singer of Irish rock band U2 and founder of the ONE Campaign, endorsed Moore's first book saying, "Politicians watch out. Shayne Moore is an unstoppable force."
