Alessia Francischiello

Alessia Francischiello was born and raised in Puglia, Italy but lived in Australia from 2013 till 2021 where she started her creative journey. She is a Film Editor, Writer, Director and Executive Producer. She attended courses in Documentary Production at the University of Sydney, Screenwriting at Australian Film, TV and Radio School and then got a diploma of Directing and Screenwriting from the Academy of Cinema and TV Griffith (Rome, IT). Alessia's films focus on character's transformation with an eye to inclusion and diversity. Her stories come from personal experiences of deep change and often reveal an oneiric touch to shed a light o the untouchable parts of human souls. Alessia wished to bring positive change in the film industry and feed her desire to represent diverse stories and feminine power.
