Sabrina Spencer is an actress/voice over artist, and writer based in New York City and Toronto. Originally from Ottawa, Canada, Her first on-screen role was as the host of a live local Canadian TV show called "See Hear" on which she interviewed fellow Canadian Alanis Morrissette when they were both 13 years old. Sabrina has been featured in several films such as the Academy Award winning films BlacKkKlansman and Joker, and in Farewell Amor, and the upcoming In The Heights. She has appeared in featured roles in TV shows including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Godfather of Harlem, Almost Family, For Life, Billions, and Orange is the New Black. her new media appearances including portraying the mother of reggaeton singer Sech in a Billboard Magazine mini documentary, and for Verizon Media and Nestle. She has been in commercials for Spotify and the apparel brand The Men's Wearhouse. Before focusing full time on her acting career, Sabrina was a New York State licensed teacher for children and adult education instructor specializing in teaching English, French, and E.S.L. She has also worked as an editor, writer, and translator, and held positions in marketing, PR, and sales.
