Matt Hourigan

Matt C. Hourigan is a multi-award-winning, independent American film and TV director, screenwriter, and producer. A talented visual storyteller and creative for scripted, live-action shorts, features, and episodic series, he is best known for his action-thriller short film The Mailman (2020). His latest project, Dinner for Two (2021) will begin its festival run in the summer of 2022. Ranked a Top Film School by both The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, he graduated with honors earning his B.F.A. in Film and Television (Directing Concentration) from the School of Cinematic Arts at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. A San Francisco Bay Area native, he now lives in Los Angeles, California. Matt's passion is to bring bold and original stories to the digital screen for broad and diverse audiences to enjoy everywhere.
