Alexandria Monet

NAME: Alexandria Monet was born in EastPoint Ga. She was raised in EastPoint from birth but finish out her growing childhood years in Atlanta, Clayton County and Stockbridge Ga. She spent most of her time in Clayton County developing her craft for the arts but was later relocated to Stockbridge ga for a better education , also to peruse her passions for the film and music industry. CHILDHOOD: Alexandria grew up around Dance from an early age. Her mother was a mentor at Rising Star Academy and Jems & Jews Teen Center where she was also mentored and found her love for dance. Her mother say how passionate and talented she was so she had no other choice but to enroll her in dance classes . She began taking classes with DRS Dance Academy where she learned many different styles of dance such as Jazz, Tap & Ballet. Her and her family then moved to Clayton County Ga where she began private school and later on attended performing arts schools to enhance her talents. At Rex Mill Middle School she was in the arts program where she participated in Plays and Dance Recitals. She had the opportunity to attend a high school that offered the performing arts program but she decided to put her dance shoes away and peruse music. From the age of 14 she taught herself how to sing which led her to performing at school events. Alexandria has also been in many News Papers and Magazines for her submission for BBBS of the year award for her big sister Robinett Pryor. She and Alexandria's mother are the reason she is as confident and outgoing as she is today. CAREER: Living in Atlanta, Alexandria studies the Acting industry while being on set doing background and stand-in work for many Tv and Film projects that were filming in Atlanta. That's where she decided to take things on a more professional route , after watching the magic happen with the A-list actors on set. Alexandria began taking her career seriously and got into acting classes at Catapult Acting Studios in Atlanta Ga, with acting coach Patrick Hogan. In 2020 Alexandria booked her first lead role in a short film called "Gravel Road" that is now available on YouTube. She has been in several other short films and tv/ web series that's showcase her talents. February of 2022 Alexandria booked her first Network Billing , a Co-Star Role on "All The Queens Men" with BET+ TRAINING: Alexandria is always working with the best teachers to improve her skills and an actress. Alexandria knows that in order to be the best you have to train with the best and stay embedded in ether craft. She also knows that life is all about lessons and that's it's okay to be a teacher but you also have to be teachable so that means remaining a student. WHY ACTING, MUSIC & DANCE: She chose Acting, Dancing & music because she wanted her own lane away from her siblings. She found the arts as a way for her to escape and an outlet to express herself. Alexandria is the Middle Child some attention was something she was always fighting for but in dance, music & acting she was the center of attention and she was able to shine like the start she was destined to be. Acting allows Alexandria to tap into different parts of herself that's she never knew she had trapped inside of her so it's almost like a " BREAK FREE" moment for her. Music and songwriting allows Alexandria to express what she keeps in her heart, music runs through her veins and it's saves her from herself as well. OTHER ENDEAVOURS: In the near future Alexandria wants to begin recording music again. She would also love to begin Screen Writing and Producing. Her imagination and Writing skills are Immaculate!
