Charles Douglas is a Canadian-born actor and movement director who works internationally on AAA and indie video games, film, XR, and theatre productions. A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, he wrote the first thesis on movement and performance capture. His credits include: Performance Director for Baldur's Gate 3 (Larian Studios) with the Dialogue Recording Team (PitStop Productions); Movement Direction for beingAI's transmedia AI characters; Coryphaeus in Double Eye Studios' award-winning Finding Pandora X; Movement Assistant to Mervyn Millar on the world premiere of The Hatchling; and several production with the National Arts Centre of Canada's English Theatre company. Charles lectures at leading institutions around the world and contributed to Julia Bianco Schoeffling's 2022 book 'The Art and Business of Acting for Video Games'. He is Senior Instructor for Embodied Process at the Vancouver Film School, where he leads performance capture. Charles is a Fellow of the RSA and a Chevening Alumnus.
