Michael Melsky

Michael Melsky is an American author and researcher who has written three books on the Lindbergh Kidnapping. He grew up in Lambertville, New Jersey, and graduated from South Hunterdon Regional High School. He then attended Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. After graduation he began a lengthy career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. During the year 2000, he began to pursue his interest in the "Crime of the Century" by doing source document research primarily at the New Jersey State Police Archives located in West Trenton, New Jersey. As a result of this study, he assisted with Detective Ellis H. Parker's posthumous pardon application submitted to President George W. Bush in 2007. His books are all from the "The Dark Corners of the Lindbergh Kidnapping" series: Volume I in 2016, Volume II in 2018, and Volume III in 2019. He is regarded by many to be among the foremost experts on this subject.
