Daijah Brionne Peters was born August 21, 2001 in Inglewood, California to David and Doniell Peters. Her father resided in Inglewood while her mother lived in Watts resulting in her being raised between both places. Daijah has two younger siblings, Deijon (16) and Dierre (2). She attended Bennet-Kew Elementary where she was a stellar student but took to the creative arts. When she was nine years old, she participated in the Amazing Grace Conservatory's presentation of West Side Story as Maria. It was during that performance that she knew she wanted to pursue a career in entertainment. From there she began writing music and performing at local events in the Watts community. She then went on to join the Bennet-Kew dance team from grades 3 to 6 and was captain in her 6th grade year. She also participated in the Premier Musical Theater theater group for two years on a full scholarship. After finishing elementary school, she was enrolled at RH Dana Middle School where she participated in plays during both of her years in attendance. Following 8th grade culmination at Dana, she attended Middle College High School for the next four years. Her first two years she used to explore athletic interests by becoming a part of the girls basketball team as well as the track team. She only ran track during her sophomore year, but continued with basketball all four years receiving accolades such as MVP, best defensive player, and more. During her junior and senior years of high school, she took drama as an elective and excelled. She then graduated high school third in her class with honors. After she graduated, she started taking acting more seriously as she pursued more opportunities in film and television. Her first project was a short film for her church where she learned as much as possible about what takes place on a film set. Her biggest project to date is her role of Latasha Harlins in "The Latasha Harlins Story," releasing summer 2022.
