At the age of 22, Karyn Clayton became the Founder, President, and CEO for Elyte Talent Management Agency of Beverly Hills, California. Along with her 3 other staff employees--old enough to be her parents, Karyn's agency provides talent management services to nearly 100 clients in the music, television, and film industries. By the age of 23, Karyn Clayton became a Hollywood-based Talent Manager, Production Supervisor, and Film Producer, with over10 projects in her cue. A Southern California native, Karyn Clayton is the youngest of 4 siblings. As an undergraduate student, Karyn worked in the office of Financial Administration for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice-President of Financial Affairs at Oakwood University-an HBCU in Huntsville. Alabama. Karyn was a Pre-Law Undergraduate Honors Scholar with a major in Political Science and a minor in English. Ms. Clayton's university activities, societies, and organizations included: serving in Student Government (USM) as a Supreme Court Justice, Senator, and Parliamentarian; Vice-President of the National Society of Leadership & Success; Vice-President of the NAACP student chapter, and Civil Rights & Social Action Liaison Officer for the Collegiate Think Tank: the United Collegiate Black Scholars (UCBS). Karyn held memberships in the Pre-Law Society, History Club, and AYS Council; served as a Student Mentor; while playing as a Point Guard on the Collegiate Women's Basketball team. During her college summers, Karyn served as a Judicial Intern for law firms in Maryland, for 2 separate Judges in the 1st Judicial District of the State of Pennsylvania, for an Employment and Occupational Law firm in Los Angeles, California, as a Legal Assistant for the Defender Association of Philadelphia, and as a Management and Marketing Intern for the Disney affiliate: NT Entertainment.
