Dawnmarie is a author, writer, producer, actress, model and founder and CEO of global advocacy company, Dawnmarie Healthy and Fit, LLC. She has two movie projects, a documentary on life with Multiple Sclerosis based on a true story. Second is Bobcat Moretti, Bobcat Moretti is a heart-wrenching drama about an obese MS patient who takes up his late Father's sport of boxing to overcome immense personal tragedy and find peace. The writer and male lead, Tim Realbuto, has a mission to create an inspirational narrative to accompany his real-life weight loss journey through boxing. Dawnmarie's Personal Journey Personal health battles and emotional struggles were the fuel for Dawnmarie Deshaies to start the global advocacy and wellness brand Dawnmariehealthyandfit, LLC. For decades she has lived with and suffered from a chronic autoimmune disease that impacted her life in many different ways. Multiple Sclerosis: Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system, essentially the brain and spinal cord. Through her journey of learning about the disease as well as finding herself, she met many other people experiencing similar challenges in managing their daily lives. Universal challenges like self-care, positivity, mental and physical health and community support were all areas she knew she could bring about change. An idea was sparked that would allow Dawnmarie to share with others her journey and deliver a community platform for warriors alike to find their own path to healing, health and positivity. By helping others heal and paying it forward, this has in turn helped her in her own continuing journey of healing. Dawnmarie Deshaies has partnered with leading advocacy groups and wellness experts to create a community platform for Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune disease including nutrition, fitness, self-care and autoimmune information while fostering a spirit of togetherness - enabling positive change and management in today's complex world.
