Ashar Khalid

Ashar Khalid is an independent screenwriter/director based in Karachi, Pakistan. After his bachelor's in Film and Television from the National College of Arts, Lahore, he went for direction. Khalid produced several music videos and commercials in both Karachi and Lahore. He participated in a US state-funded exchange program at the University of Texas at Austin and co-wrote his first feature film. As a part-time production sound mixer, he has worked on feature films, web series, cine-plays, short films and teaches the subject at the Film and Television department at the National college of Arts.
