Jake Metcalf is a British film director, cinematographer and producer living in Manchester, England. He is best known for small production, uncredited shorts such as 'Deer in the Headlights', 'Elysium Red' and his feature-length mockumentary, 'To Become Immortal and then Die'. Currently enrolled at Manchester Metropolitan University, he has had the opportunity to direct photography for a number of films, including the theatre production 'Babies' and 'Bricks', a coming-of-age short set to begin production in late May. Jake has been making films for 3 years, receiving A+ grades throughout his filmmaking education and graduation from BFI Academy. He recently claimed a position as co-managing director of Infinity Pictures in 2021 and subsequently producing an up-and-coming director's short, 'Nightwatch'. With each new project, Jake hopes to challenge his abilities, aiming to one day direct feature-length films with equally impressive budgets.
