Merdine Dean Marot

Merdine Kinanvuidi Marot (born 13 July 1997) better known by his stage name 'DeanC' is a R&B/Pop singer, actor, model and dancer with Congolese and Angolese roots. Born in the Netherlands but raised in Belgium, Brussels (later in Ninove). He started his acting and model career back in 2016. He worked on various acting projects (short movies, series...) in Belgium, France and The Netherlands and did many commercials for big brands like McDonald's, Alpro, Coca Cola etc... He singed into Dominique Models Agency in 2019. One of the biggest agencies in the Benelux. In 2021 he started doing TV shows for Walloon TV-channel RTBF and Flemish TV-channel VTM. In 2020 he released his first singles C'est La Vie, Fire ft. Jr Marot, King and Temptation ft. DracoBoy. He started this new year with his last single Mijn Baby. Dean is also quadrilingual. He speaks Dutch, French, English and Lingala. He loves to sing in every one of them. Like a lot of children born into a Congolese family, music was always around. Dean comes from a musical family both of his grandfathers were great dancers and played some traditional instruments, his father worked with many big artists from DRC and his big brother (Jr Marot) is a well know Congelese artist in Africa. His brother played with many big artists from Congo like Koffi Olomide and Werrason. Dean taught himself to sing and dance at a young age and often cites Chris Brown, Sam Cooke, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson as his inspirations. This year DeanC will introduce himself to the people and is excited for you to enjoy the upcoming music, acting working and performances.
