Avery T. Cooper, the second of four siblings, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas raised by his mother, a media sales veteran, who instilled in him the desire to be successful in life. As one very involved in school, Avery excelled in various sports, choir, and marching band - maintaining first chair as a trombone player from junior high to high school. With music centerstage, Avery won so many talent shows during his junior high and high school years, that teachers began to use him as a headliner to increase attendance ... and donations. This sparked his desire for a career in music. After high school, Avery's rap career exploded; leading to his opening for national acts who came to Little Rock. With his dream growing bigger, he headed for the west coast. While in Los Angeles, Avery became popular at open mics and competitions gaining the attention of industry people. He was also introduced to the film industry by friends and performed background work on movie sets. His acting talent stood out causing a casting agent to push him to act fulltime; but Avery remained focused on music. Years later, while living in Memphis, Avery found himself acting again. His credits include background work in the Netflix film, UNCORKED (2019); lead actor in the silent short, HUNTING SEASON (2019); and a prominent role in the independently produced film, WHY ME? (2021).
