Born on February 4, 1999 in Guasave, Sinaloa, Gilberto Sepúlveda López is a professional football player for one of Mexico's most legendary teams, Club Deportivo Guadalajara, also known as Chivas. Gilberto, who goes by the nickname Tiba, formed part of the Chivas youth academy at the age of 14 and has since lived at the team's clubhouse, Verde Valle. His older brother Mario Sepúlveda is his mentor and important support system in his pursuit of his professional soccer career. Tiba has played for the U-20 Mexico National Team and he made his debut with the senior National Team in a friendly match against Guatemala.
