Remi Webster is a young actress to watch. She is in pre-production for the independent feature film Remnant (2022), playing Sophie Bridges. She has a lead role, Nina, in Thanks for Coming (2021), and won Most Memorable Performance with the ensemble cast at the Lights Canberra Action film festival in 2021. In addition, Remi had a leading part, Amelia, in an original play Everything Real in a Make-Believe World (2021) through Canberra Youth Theatre. The actor's other credits include; Hannah (lead) in the short film Cherry Jam (2022) which was also screened at the Lights Canberra Action Festival, Sam in the short film Coffee (2018), Ms Gatz in Budding Entertainments play The Great Gatsby (2020) in addition to Miss Snapchat in the skit Social Media Speed Dating (2017). Remi completed a variety of masterclasses including teacher Lisa Robertson's Script Analysis and Emotional Core class and coach Miranda Harcourt's Screen Acting class. Remi has trained at The National Acting School since 2015 working with contemporary and classical material. Other training includes NIDA's Auditioning and Screen Tests Course. Remi also sings and is training at Glengrove Studio. Remi is a Finalist in the 2021 World Monologue Games. She recently completed the Creative Immersion Programme at Canberra Theatre Centre, a week of intensive training. Qualified in a Certificate II in Creative Industries, she has work experience across stage design and marketing. Remi is a visual artist, working primarily with ceramics to create both abstract and practical pieces. Additionally, her interests lay in capturing the human experience through portraiture. With several other projects in the works, Remi is looking forward to building her on-screen repertoire.
