An Actor and Award Winning Voice Actor. An Atlanta native, he grew up in the southern suburbs of the city. Always dimly aware of the diversity of his environment and the eclectic culture that is the ATL, it imbued his taste and appreciation of art and nature with a love of deeper messages and provocations. He began his career path at at home, in front of a television, some epic fantasy playing on the screen. He had always had a passion of re-enacting scenes and becoming characters from his favorite films, such as The Dark Crystal, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pirates of the Caribbean and his favorite, The Lord of the Rings trilogy among many others. He began his training at the age of ten, with The Alliance Theater of Atlanta. He would go on to join a small summer time acting camp over the next five years of his life, The Atlanta Street Theater. Throughout his teen years he would take many more classes and learn much about the art of acting but wouldn't be signed to an agent until he became a young man at the age of twenty three. Alexander V. Cantrell made his biggest Tv/Film spot to date, with the role of "Book Clerk" on episode 9 "Estrella y Mar " of Lodge 49. He would go on to try his hand at voice over work and find success there as well winning First place of "The Ultimate VO Survivor" of 2020 in the Narration category. Look for Alexander V. Cantrell in his Director and Producer debut of "Burnt" and a great number of other works coming 2021.
