Janessa Robinson

Janessa Robinson is an actor, filmmaker and published writer. Janessa's short film Through the Fire is featured in Ava Duvernay and Time magazine's Optimist Issue. She wrote, performed in, produced, directed, and edited Through the Fire. Janessa appeared as lead actress in Fore! Art, a 48 Hour Film Project horror comedy which was nominated for Best Makeup and Best Use of Prop. Janessa's writings are published in HuffPost, The Guardian, Chopra Center, Ebony, Salon magazine, and Naacp's The Crisis Magazine. Janessa is Founder/CEO of Artistry Land, a company that uses design to promote doing good in the world and living well.
