Born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay. Florencia had always known that her desire and passion about telling stories and creating emotions would someday lead her into who she is now. Studied at Universidad Católica del Uruguay where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and later took 6 months of Film Studies at UNCG, North Carolina, USA. After this experience, she realized that telling real stories was what she really wanted to do. She worked at a Production Company, Oriental Films in Uruguay where she worked as location assistant and manager before and after her studies at UNCG. Later on, she migrated into Executive Production at Metrópolis Films where she discovered a stronger passion for production but she understood that publicity was not really her field. After working for two years in these companies, she was awarded with the Fulbright Scholarship that took her to take her Master's Degree in Film and Media Production at NYFA, Los Angeles. Along that experience, she reinforced her idea of telling stories and started gaining more interest in the directing and writing territory. After coming back from her MA in LA, she started working at Cimarrón Cine, where she was hoping to work. A production company where she started as an Executive Production Assistant and now turned into Film Marketing and Distribution. In her free time, she is writing stories, filming short films and continues to study films.
