Benjamin Willis-Teff

Ben Willis-Teff was born in Columbia, Missouri, and was raised in the plains of western Nebraska. He began creating montages of family vacations to relive excursions outside his small town. Intrigued by the concepts of syncing music with video, in high school he made video game montages and submitted them into editing contests on YouTube. After high school, Ben returned to Columbia to study Digital Storytelling at the University of Missouri, where he earned the Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research for his first narrative short film. After graduation, he booked a one-way ticket to South America and created his first foreign language film while living in Brazil. Ben now resides in Los Angeles, California.
