Yohan Philip

Yohan Philip was born on 2 February 1995 in Malaysia he moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2009. His first role was in the Australian TV Series How to Talk Australian (2014). He also screen tested for the lead role in LION (2016) that same year but was not cast and later quit acting to pursue a career as an attorney. He was also an extra on various sets including The Very Excellent Mr.Dundee (2020). Yohan has appeared in a number of TV commercials including Melbourne University- Collide Ad Campaign (2015) and several others for Nike. Yohan was an accomplished runner representing Australia as a junior in 6km cross country in 2012 and a one time national finalist in the 3000m Steeple Chase in 2016 which doubled as the Olympic Trials for the Rio Olympic Games. He failed to make the team but has remained a local ambassador for Nike appearing in a number of TV and Digital advertising. Yohan has a B.A from Melbourne University and a J.D in Law from Monash University.
