Kelly Hei Man Cheung was born in Hong Kong on May 11, 1990 and moved to Chicago with her family when she was 10 years old. She attended the University of Illinois-Chicago for the degree in Business Administration, and then went on to have a successful modeling career and was awarded "Best New Model 2010" by Elite HK Model Management. After winning the Miss Chicago Chinese competition in 2011, she represented Chicago and was crowned Miss Chinese International in 2012. She has always had a passion in acting and performing, so in 2013, she made a decision to move back to Hong Kong and signed with TVB as a television host and actress. As a native speaker of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she has starred in many major television series in Hong Kong and Mainland China. In 2019, Cheung starred in the critical acclaimed medical drama "Big White Duel" as Dr. Yan Lui Oi-Ling, garnering her first nomination for Best Actress and won the Most Improved Female Artiste award at the 2019 TVB Anniversary Awards. Cheung now spends her time between Hong Kong and the US.
