Mia Dirir (pronounced 'di-rare') is an American actress and singer. Dirir's love of acting began while playing the character Beneatha 'Bennie' Young in a production of the stage play 'A Raisin in the Sun'. She has also appeared in productions of "Bye Bye Birdie" and "A Streetcar Named Desire". As the years went on, her passion for the craft remained, which led to her deciding to pursue an acting career. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington and Texas Wesleyan University where she earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees, respectively.
