Trystan began acting when he was very young, doing small roles in community musical theatre productions like that of Judah in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. When he finally did slip into the film and television industry, he landed a supporting role on YTV's System Crash (2000). From there, he went on to play a regular supporting student in the popular series Radio Free Roscoe (2003), Degrassi Next Generation (2003), The Cheeta Girls (2003), Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2003) and Mean Girls (2004). Other recent film and television credits include Rogers Live (2014), City of Mississauga's 'Buzz The Bee Emergency Safety' mascot production (2014), and most recently appearing in Netflix Series Self Made: Inspired by the life of Madam C.J. Walker (2020).
