Daniel Navarro Pérez was born on May 17th, 1999 in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. His talent for music started very early from the age of 5 years old, when his parents decided to sign him up to a music school. His teacher realized quickly after that Daniel has a talent and a special ear for music. He was always fascinated by the film industry in general, at six years old his dream was to become an actor. Throughout his childhood his dream persisted, however, then faded away and redirected to computers & technology. Daniel's fascination in the film industry sparked when he made his first short film at school. Through this experience he developed a love for being in front of a camera and being part of a film crew. In his late teenage years, he unexpectedly encountered a casting website, of which he impulsively applied for. He obtained two roles in a reality series called "Auf Streife", where he further advanced his passions and aspirations to progress his career within the industry. While being in Darmstadt and figuring out what he wanted to do, Daniel attempted to pursue a variety of careers, including Computer Science & Law of Information. However, this was unsuccessful, as his passions lied elsewhere. Instead he applied for acting universities with the help of actor Béla Milan-Uhrlau. This also fell through, and when the Covid-19 pandemic hit Germany, Daniel moved to Berlin, where he accepted the opportunity to work as a video editor. During his time in Berlin, he participated at the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition (BIFSC), the following year he became a Freelance Audio & Video Producer. Despite acquiring a job that he was contempt with, he persisted with attempts to pursue acting around Berlin. He decided to get private coaching for acting universities in Berlin by Markus Weiß, the father of Béla Milan-Uhrlau. Following this, he got into the second round of "Filmuniversität Babelsberg", of which was an amazing opportunity for him to provide insights into the application process. Driven by his passions, he persevered with acting lessons at "Young-Talents" from 2020 to late 2021. Daniel's first ever experience with a film crew and script arose when he played a part in "Junk Nation", directed and produced by Emin Mikayilov. In this German short film, shot in may 2021, Daniel was excited to play the role of the comedic main character "Rudi". Half a year later, he became acquainted with director & producer Fabian Siebecke, who provided him with the thrilling opportunity to act and participate in the production of a new Live Action Short Film. "Succeed to Escape", premiered on April 2nd, 2022 at Cineplex Titania in Berlin, is in English and is soon to be available on Amazon Prime. Daniel withheld many responsibilities during the production of this short film, including acting, filming, sound design, film scoring, color grading and audio mastering. Daniel continues to seek opportunities to further the progression of his career and advance his passions within the film industry.
