Ashlynn Brooks was born on November 29, 1999 in Richmond, VA. She was raised on a farm in Montpelier, VA (until her family later relocated to Lake Anna) with her parents and her older sister. Growing up, she had a passion for performing and the arts. She participated in several pageants and even won the title of Little Miss Greater Richmond at the age of 5. Ashlynn began modeling when she was 10 and signed with Modelogic Wilhelmina Mid-Atlantic. She even turned down the offer to move to NYC and sign with Ford Modeling due to the fact that NYC was far away and she was still in school. Ashlynn began booking commercials and print work with several National companies, such as Walmart. She also danced from the age of 2 to the present day. The majority of her dance training was obtained from Central VA Dance Academy, as she was very active in the studio. She got the chance to play her dream role of Clara in the Nutcracker when she was 15. She really dove into acting and the theatre department during her junior year of high school at Patrick Henry High. Ashlynn then attended Virginia Tech and majored in theatre, with a focus in performance. Her passion for writing led her to add a second major of creative writing during her junior year of college. At the university, she joined a sorority, got a job as a dance teacher at a local studio in Blacksburg, VA, and participated in several student films, workshop plays, and main stage shows. In 2021, she booked an Indie feature film with Ramer Productions while on her summer break from college. When she came in for her audition, the role of her character did not even exist yet. As a result of her engagement and inspiration for the project, the director of the film, Bobby Mercer, rewrote the entire script and gave her a co-starring role. The movie is titled Shrink Wrapped and is set to release in 2022.
