Cedric Kasongo

Cedric Kabamba Kasongo is a Congolese American actor, singer and songwriter born in the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to his parents, Cedric really begun acting at the age of 2 years old, performing different animal behaviors in a way that's never seen from a 2 year old. Though his 2 year old performances took place during family night campfires in Meheba refugees camp, where he was raised in Zambia, Cedric continued his long awaited acting career after arriving to the United States. Cedric took theatre courses all 4 years of high school while performing in theatrical plays and musicals such as Ax of Murder, Little shop of Horrors, and Streetcar Named Desire. During high school, Cedric also picked up Music through one of his best friends who was a music producer. Cedric learned the arts of music production as well as video editing, putting a beginning to what now looks like a promising career in music as well. As a college student, Cedric advanced his skills in songwriting while taking piano and singing courses in addition to multiple acting courses. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in International Finance, Cedric pursued film and television acting by earning featured roles in The Crossover and Sacred Motivation (Emancipation) after 4 years of background acting experience. From music to acting, Cedric is a prime athlete with advanced skills in Martial Arts and Sports such as Soccer, Basketball, Football, Tennis, and Track N Field. Cedric learned martial arts at a young age with inspiration coming from his favorite actors such as Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and Jean-Claude Van Damme. After graduating from College, Cedric spent time training at a martial Arts Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
