Michael "Ryan" Costello is an actor and screenwriter based in Reno, Nevada. He received his degree in Theatre Arts from Southern Oregon University in 2014 and tends to play comic underdogs including Nick Bottom in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Seymour Krelborn in "Little Shop of Horrors", David Sedaris in "The Santaland Diaries", and Leaf Coneybear in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". Ryan's writing credits include the play "Cody Stanfield I Know You Stole My Gameboy Color in the Third Grade and Now the World Does Too" and the short film "The Hero". His unproduced feature screenplay "Ears" was the winner of the Cordillera International Film Festival's Mary Hughes Screenplay Award in 2019.
