Cyril Nehmé is a French filmmaker of Lebanese descent. Born in Beirut, he settles down in Paris to pursue a career in cinema. He also explores his love for classical music by learning lyrical singing and playing cello. His short films "People Disappear All the Time" and "J'ai rêvé Carthage" have been selected in 45+ film festivals - such as FIDMarseille, FIFA Montréal, FIFOG - and have won dozens of awards. In recent years, Cyril has developed in his films a craft lying on the borders of cinema and visual arts, but also imbued with his passion for opera.
