Theron Mahoney is a multi talented child actor and model. He is best known for The Burning Girls (2023) and Call The Midwife (2021). In addition to being a child actor and model he is also a Kung Fu student, gymnast, tap dancer, singer, guitarist, pianist and a Young Climate Warrior. Theron is the first ever Child Ambassador since 1928, to have picked up two Eco Awards in succession, at the Miss England national beauty pageant held in England in (2022). Theron was recognised for his effort for setting up his own crowdfunding page 'plantatreewithmefor50p' and raising £100 to help commonwealth countries to get out of poverty by helping them plant 200 trees to provide food for their families and oxygen for the planet. As well as clearing 6 bags of litter at his school bus stop using a litter-pick. His first Child Award was from Kelly Levell, founder of 'We do Ethical' whose company was recognised by the late Queen Elizabeth II and the other from 'WASUP' - World Against Single Use Plastic. Presenting him with the WASUP Trophy Professor Gatrad the founder of WASUP said, "we should all be inspired by Theron who is showing us all the way to help save our planet. If this world had many more like him, we will avert an Armageddon by the end of the century". Receiving his WASUP Trophy from Professor Gatrad Theron said, "My wish is that all wildlife continues". As WASUP also has a climate change agenda Professor Gatrad has offered to mentor Theron as he becomes the youngest WASUP Ambassador. Joining in the mentoring will be Jennifer Carless, an 18 year old who is the Chief International WASUP Ambassador and also the Miss England WASUP Queen (2022). Mahoney collaborated with Stella McCartney when picking up his Eco Awards. Theron was born on February 28th, in 2014 in Lewisham, London, U.K. as Theron Mahoney-Bostridge, the son of Actors Jason Bostridge and Teresa Mahoney. His paternal grandmother was Swedish (from Gothenburg). His maternal grandfather is Irish (from County Kerry). He received a 'Green Champion Award' from Lewisham Council in recognition of his dedication to creating a Cleaner Lewisham presented by Cllr Louise Krupski, Cabinet Member for Environmental and Climate Action in (2023). Mahoney first appeared on TV at the age of five in an episode of Kitchen Disco on Citv Scrambled where he danced to Michael Jackson's, Smooth Criminal. When he was seven he co starred with his mother, Teresa Mahoney in Apex Zero's new multi-layered visual album Drummer Warrior Storyteller (2022) exploring personal experiences of oppression and liberation of African and Caribbean people in London, on the 230th anniversary of the start of the Haitian Revolution. Artistic Director Muti Musafiri (Cats 2019) said how well Theron took direction as he could clearly see the subtle changes he was making to improve his performance. "He's a star in the making!" Theron's first TV drama debut was at the age of seven as George Thompson in Call the Midwife (2022). The director Noreen Kershaw was so impressed with his performance that she couldn't quite believe that it was his first time on a TV set. "He's so good!" He co-starred with Guy Henry who plays his father, the Reverend Marsh in The Burning Girls directed by Kieran Hawkes (2022). The Casting Director, Gary Davy and the Director were so impressed with Theron's Self Tape because not only did he look like the Actor, David Dawson playing Aaron Marsh but he could also act. The Young Aaron Marsh was originally only intended to be a Supporting Artist role but because of Theron's acting ability he was added to the cast list. He joined Kids London Model Agency (2021) whose clients include all the major names in fashion, the top designer brands, department stores, magazines, film and TV. Theron was a Campaign Model for Bora Aksu (AW21) Campaign and Zara (AW21) Campaign. He also played The Knight in the Zara Halloween-Kids (2021) RSA films directed by Marie Schuller. When Theron turned eight he joined BRIT Kids at the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology notable for its numerous famous alumni. He joined D&B Theatre School when he was seven and performed in their Variety Show (2021). Theron first started acting, singing, and dancing at Stagecoach Performing Arts when he was four and sung Soprano in the musicals, The Snowman and The School of Rock. The Young Climate Warriors awarded Theron for hitting the red button and being an amazing Young Climate Warrior in (2022).
