Sarah Juliet Shaw

Sarah was born in Philadelphia, PA. She is a graduate of Skidmore College, from which she holds a Bachelor of Science in Dance, Psychology, and Arts Administration. She now resides in the best city in the world, New York City. Sarah is also a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. Sarah has appeared as a Principal Dancer on seasons 4 and 5 of Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (chor. Marguerite Derricks). She also performed live at Maisel's Season 4 FYC Event for Emmy voters. Other credits include regional productions of The Wedding Singer (Holly), Chicago (Mona, u/s Velma Kelly), The Little Mermaid (Arista), Flashdance, Saturday Night Fever, Jesus Christ Superstar, Elf: The Musical, Carousel, and Kiss Me, Kate. In addition to her career as a performer, Sarah is also a dance teacher and choreographer. She is on the guest faculty at renowned New York City dance studios Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. She has presented her own work in New York Theatre Barn's Choreography Lab, the Broadway Dance Center Performance Project, and at the National Museum of Dance. Sarah also prides herself on being a trusted assistant, and has had the opportunity to assist multiple choreographers and teachers in various capacities, including Marguerite Derricks, Rachel Leigh Dolan, Ricky Hinds, Lizz Picini, Brandon Kelly, and Marjorie Failoni.
