Joanna Gaspar

I started working with film in high school at 16 years old. I worked in the multimedia department of proscenium circus at ABRHS. My skills lean closely with documentary work as that us what I've had the most experience creating however I am branching out to narrative work as well. I am a hardworking self-started individual with a comprehensive understanding of technical operations and customer support required for video, television and film production. Fast learner with expertise in modern digital media. Great at managing relationships and interacting professionally with team members and external clients. Passionate about documentary filmmaking and artistic cinematography. A sharp eye for creative flow and intrigue in any hands-on projects. As part of the LGBTQ community I am also an activist and fighter for social justice issues. With a degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sociology from Eckerd College. I am employed at Tastemade as a post-production assistant. I have experience using various different editing softwares and camera equipment as well as general office equipment. Ive worked creating DIT kits, and I have worked hand in hand with different media technicians as tech support. Long term goal is to work in cinematography for documentary productions around Los Angeles and the world.
