Estefanía Soto is a Puerto Rican TV host, model, and actress. She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico to her mother Luz, an organic chemistry professor, and Ariel, a sales manager. Prior to being crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020, Soto worked for several international organizations such as the Embassy of France (Washington D.C.), the European Patent Office (The Hague), and Eurocities (Brussels). In 2020 she placed Top 10 as Miss Puerto Rico at the international Miss Universe competition. Following her performance, she became a producer and journalist for WAPA TV's show Cuarto Poder and made her TV hosting debut for WAPA TV's MUPR Final competition. Soto entered the acting world in late 2021 and was cast for her first acting role in an American series in February 2022. In March 2022, she was accepted at the Baron Brown Acting Studio, a drama school in Santa Monica, California, where she is training in acting. Prior to settling for the communications and entertainment industry, she obtained an interdisciplinary Master's degree in gender studies and cultural anthropology that that took her to live in 7 countries and to work for several international organizations such as the Embassy of France (Washington D.C.), the European Patent Office (The Hague), and Eurocities (Brussels). She speaks Spanish, English, and French fluently, and has intermediate proficiency in Dutch.
