Anastasia Kostoff Mann

Anastasia grew up in film industry in Hollywood. She was registered with Central Casting at 6 months old and appeared as an extra or in bit parts in over 70 motion pictures and several TV movies and the series Mr. Novak. She spent many years being tutored on sets at Disney, MGM, Paramount, etc. Anastasia appeared in countless films with the who's who of Actors and Directors ranging from Cary Grant to Jimmy Steward to Hayley Mills and Karl Malden to Alfred Hitchcock, David Swift. etc. At the age of 17 Anastasia began her education at USC on a full tuition Scholarship so thereafter gave up acting. Her interests were more aligned with the art of directing. producing and screenwriting. In the early 70's Anastasia became involved with live theatre, becoming a part of the production team for Plumstead Playhouse, the theatrical production group founded by Actors Martha Scott, Henry Fonda, Robert Ryan, Theatrical Producer Alfred De Liagre, etc, and others. She worked with film, stage and television luminaries including Fonda; Carol Burnett; Rock Hudson; Jane Alexander; Richard Dryfuss, Hugh O'Brien, Lucille Ball and many others.' In 1980 Anastasia met the British Columnist/Author Roderick Mann at the Cannes Film Festival. It was "love at first sight" for both "bachelors". They married January 1st, 1985 in Antigua with Leslie and Evie Bricusse serving as Best Couple. The wedding was attended by Liza Minelli, John and Mary Mills and Peter De Savary among others. Anastasia and Roderick traveled to over 140 countries together and conducted research for his Columns, novels and screenplays. David Niven, Cary Grant, Natalie Wood, Roger Moore, Omar Sharif; Robert Wagner were among their closest friends from the world of actors plus Studio and television luminaries including Sidney Sheldon, Richard Kahn; Sid Ganis; Freddie Fields; Peter Beale; Robert Evans; Robert Wussler, etc. Alongside her love for the theatrical arts, Anastasia became an honored professional in the Hospitality Industry, having been the first female Director at the prestigious Beverly Wilshire Hotel to today still owning and operating one of the most prestigious Travel Management Companies in the USA, where she continues to service the industry. Her company, The Corniche Group, Inc., includes Corniche Entertainment which manages talent in the music world and produces concerts. Anastasia owns Roderick Mann's novels, screenplays and plays. She is part of the Production team on "Chalet", a film project based on Mann's play of the same name. She has co-written a pilot for a cast-diverse comedy TV series with bandleader and entertainer, Louie Cruz Beltran.
