Benjamin James Dutill was born on February 1979, in Frankfurt, Germany. Benjamin is known as The Horror Heathen due to his extensive knowledge of the horror genre. In December 2019, Benjamin made his breakthrough by deciding to establish a podcast called South Jersey Horror. He writes, edits, and produces each episode while delivering humor and attempting to break the fourth wall usually by inaugurating satire. Moreover, Benjamin continues to create more podcast episodes and short movie reviews on social media to entertain his followers and listeners. In February 2022, Benjamin established The Horror Heathen YouTube Channel exhibiting videos of movie reviews and interviews with movie actors and actresses in which are expressed on a more personal level giving them [actors and actresses] credit for their performances. The podcast South Jersey Horror is listened to on many platforms: Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, iHeart Radio and many others. With only a little amount of episodes, there have already been over 1,200 plays and downloads and the numbers continue to soar. The podcast is also listened to universally in Estonia, South Africa, Germany, India, Denmark, Ecuador, Sweden, Philippines, Belgium, Russia, Argentina, Indonesia, Bolivia, Ireland, Australia, The United Kingdom, and Finland. Over the past few years, Benjamin has succeeded by developing professional relationships with many movie performers. The actors/actresses include, Lew Temple, Milo Cawthorne, Anastasia Phillips, Sarah Lind, Bethan Waller, Chaney Morrow, Terri Partyka, Ken Arnold, Tony Moran, Tyler Mane, Felissa Rose, Mark Patton, Lisa Wilcox, David Howard Thornton, Lauren LaVera, Doug Bradley, Melanie Kinnaman, Michele Michaels, Leonoroa Scelfo, Nancy Anne Ridder, Paula Lindberg, Rochelle Davis, Noah Hathaway, Erica Dyer, Jason Liles, Zachary Hing, Simon Bamford, Tamara Glynn, Darcy DeMoss, Thomas G. Benjamin has served in two separate branches of the military: the United States Navy (1997-2001) and the United States Army (2004-2015). While serving in the United States Navy, he was awarded The Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for participating in Operation Southern Watch. Furthermore, Benjamin deployed twice to the Middle East: Once to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) from December 2004 - December 2005 were he was awarded the OIF Ribbon with a Bonze Star. And a second time to Afghanistan, February 2008 - May 2009 in support of North American Treaty Organization (NATO) Operations [Operation Enduring Freedom] in position of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) to provide effective security across the country which he was awarded the OEF Ribbon with a Bronze Star.
