Giulio Meliani

Giulio Meliani is a Los Angeles based Brazilian-American filmmaker. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1984. He moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue his photography and filmmaking career. Back in Brazil, Giulio attended art school where he discovered his passion for image making and storytelling. After moving to Los Angeles in 2006, he completed his photography education at Santa Monica College in 2010 and began while also crafting his filmmaking skills assisting for productions in LA. In 2012, Giulio started his own production company, Joy Per Second where he is Creative director, DP, editor and colorists for and has been working on numerous commercials, music videos and mini-documentaries as Director, DP, editor and colorist. AION is his narrative short film debut as both the writer and director.
