Shena Verrett

Actress, Writer, Model, Musician Shena Verrett is the preeminent lead actress for the Afrofuturism genre. She is a lead actress in the fiction feature film PHLO, directed by Jim Fielder; which was the exclusive film presented at the Carnegie Hall Afrofuturism Festival 2022. Shena has appeared in for over 100 major publications and ad campaigns internationally. She performs original music as a solo artist and curates events in several venues in the Southeast. She's also a songwriter for recording artists, film and television soundtracks.
