Donoven Johnson Aka as SONNY is a Music Producer/Artist from Los Angeles, California. Raised in the Antelope Valley, SONNY Started his musical career at 16. He discovered the music production software FL STUDIO and learned the software at lightning speed. SONNY would then begin producing for local acts. At the age of 18, the musical prodigy was signed to Tantrum Records (UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP) as an in-house producer. He would continue to evolve as a producer and produce for acts such as CLIPSE, METHOD MAN, KARDINAL OFFICIAL, and many more. After leaving Tantrum Records SONNY attended the Music Institute in Hollywood California and received his associate's degree after completing The Independent Artist Program. SONNY would go on to produce for up-and-coming acts Pac Div, Ty Dolla Sign, Belle Rose, and others while also developing as a songwriter and engineer. SONNY would continue to add more credits to his resume in the world of film and television having received placements on shows like 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' and major television networks MTV, VH1, BET, E!, and more. SONNY is currently involved in several high-profile projects in the entertainment business. He will be releasing several music projects as a solo artist, producing for established and up-and-coming artists, scoring a major film, and continuing his philanthropic endeavors through his non-profit companies and committed bond with his community.
