Marta Perez-Coca

Marta Pérez-Coca (Alicante, Spain, 1994) is writer, director, production designer and producer of several short films shot both in Spain and in the United States. Although her background was originally in Business Administration, Marta pursued film studies after getting her Bachelor's from CEU San Pablo, Madrid, and working in finance for a time. The opportunity arose to come to America and study an MFA in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in California. A lover of all things slightly dark and twisted, her unique point of view about filmmaking and death landed her and her short film, "A Deadly Shoot," a spot in the 2022 Broad Humor Film Festival in Monrovia, California. She is working now (2022) on her first feature film (!) and making the absolute most of her new life in Los Angeles.
