Lynne Young is an actor, choreographer and theatrical director. She started dancing at a very young age, becoming a professional upon adulthood. This then led her into musical theatre, and then stage drama and television. Whilst also becoming a teacher in dance (mainly ballet, tap and modern), Lynne's career on stage has now spanned over 50 years. Appearing in, choreographing and directing countless productions for UK companies such as Aldridge and Brownhills musical theatre society and the Grange Players in Walsall. A production of particular note was one of the lead rolls in Birmingham's centenary play "Heartlanders" by David Edgar at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre (1989). Lynne is also the mother of actor, composer and director Cat Mantra.
