McCleary Porterfield

Living on sixteen acres, McCleary had no choice but to own a horse. She has been practicing horsemanship for five years with her squad of best friends - Sadie, her sassy horse, Scout, her crazy dog, and Toro, her family's rescued thoroughbred. Sadie and McCleary have a lot in common - they both like to run and are huge fans of apples. As an athlete, she has competed in cross-country for five years. She can also throw her weight around - she throws discus and won third place in the state meet. With a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and boxing experience, McCleary knows how to punch. McCleary receives on-camera training every week with Lar Park Lincoln. She can be your tough teen, Max in "Stranger Things", the genuine best friend, Lena in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants", and the girl-next-door, Allison in "Teen Wolf". In theatre, McCleary has played notable roles such as Kate Keller in "The Miracle Worker" and Gwen in "slasreveR neveS". Her first stunt training came when she played the roaring lion, Aslan, in "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". Reading is her favorite way to relax, especially when the novel is an epic fantasy or murder mystery. McCleary looks forward to appearing in films of the same genres. As National Honors Society Vice President and Student Body Government President, McCleary received academic awards in Geometry, English, American History, World History, Earth Science, Biology, and Pre-Calculus. She is a National Merit Commended Scholar.
