Miles Mussenden is a British-born, American film and television actor known for bringing strength, warmth and charm to myriad of characters. Miles started acting in the theater when he was a young child in New York City, at which time he attended the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts. He has since been featured in recurring roles including on Army Wives, Bloodline and The Good Lord Bird portraying the abolitionist Dangerfield Newby on Showtime. Additionally, he's made appearances on hit TV shows Stranger Things, Ballers, Secrets and Lies, Mr. Mercedes, etc. Miles can be seen in the series regular role of 'Otis Johnson' in Marvel's TV series Cloak and Dagger streaming on HULU, DC Doom Patrol, the Apple TV series Swagger guest starring as Bret Hughes and hit series The Walking Dead. Miles was born in London, and raised in Brooklyn, New York. His parents hailed from the South American country of Guyana. Growing up in a low-income neighborhood similar to his parents, Miles developed a special yearning to help 'at risk' youth which he still advocates for today. While working his RE Development company, he spent much of his time acting on stage at his ministry. It was in 2010 that Miles decided it was time to fully take a chance on pursuing his real career passion: acting. When Miles is not filming, he loves to spend quality time with his wife and children, play music, ride motorcycles and explore ancient cities throughout the world. He also works with local hands-on and non-profit charity organizations supporting 'at risk' youth, and Caring For Others supporting struggling families. He splits his time between New York City, Los Angeles and Atlanta.
