Anthony was born in Portsmouth, Va and adopted by an African-American father and Japanese mother at 2 months old. He was told that he was half Filipino and half Hawaiian, however, it took 24 years, 11 months and one week for him to discover that he was actually half Filipino and Puerto Rican. He was raised in a huge all African- American community in the city of Norfolk, Va. He faced many cultural challenges including his own thinking. Although was embraced by his community members, Anthony felt a need to fit in by acting out his persona given to him by his peers. In the 2nd grade he was given the role of a tree in an original play. Yes, an inanimate object, however, on the night of the performance the lead star got cold feet and the director insisted that Anthony knew everything about the role, including dialogue. Terrified but anxious to please his teacher, he played the role of drummer boy in front of a standing room only crowd and gave the performance of his life and was given along with the rest of the cast, a standing ovation. Right till this very day he has yet to experience anything more exhilarating and satisfying as that night many years ago. A lifetime passed before the day came where he thought that this would be his lifelong journey and career. In 2010 he finally embarked on the road of his passion and joy in the spectacular City of Angels. His whole life is an array of multi-faceted stories and although he is in his own words "Small Potatoes," Anthony is nothing less than a natural, right now.
