Right from the moment Omkar started his career in 2004, he knew he had a calling to work in the movies. With the guidance from the brilliant Director Kedar Shinde, his first film as an Asst. Director, 'Aga Bai Arechya' was well received by the audience. After which, Omkar had an opportunity to work on more cinematic gems like Jatra, Yanda Kartavya Aahe, Bakula Namdev Ghotale and so on. He expanded his portfolio as a 'Screenplay assistant' & 'Lyricist' for the film 'Galgale Nighale' (2008) thus branching out in the field of writing. Passion for his work allowed him to manage his work as a screenplay and dialogue writer whilst venturing out as a director in- 'Varcha Class' (Director) 'Madhu Ithe an Chandra Tithe' (Episode Director) 'Mann He Bavre' (Music Video) 'Kya Haal Mr. Panchaal' (2nd Unit Director) Always on a look out for exciting new projects as a director, he is currently brewing some fantastic content as a screenplay writer.
