Danny Miguel

Based in Long Beach California, in 2006 Danny Miguel got a first-hand preview as a production assistant in Santa Monica surrounding himself with creative-forces like A.J. Carter, Marwan Hamed and renown music video director Cameron Casey. He acquired more skills on passion-driven shorts while building lifelong-connections at 'Film and Electronic Arts', Cal State Long Beach. In 2011, he re-enrolled on campus to complete an espionage short 'Discredit'. Featuring Donny Boaz (Young and the Restless, Six) Cody Rain Murray (Noir) and Peter Banifaz (Shameless), it premiered in Downtown LA [Big House Fest] and won a Silver Award in New York 2016 [Chautauqua International]. Shifting to smaller scale, he explored 'The Entry', about a mystery-jewel box. It was co-produced by New Jersey-native Jerry J. Cunningham and introduced actress Renée Suzette. In Summer 2022, he released a Racecar documentary 'Mexican Express'. A project introduced to him and a joint-effort by award-winning director Ed Moy (Luminaries, Aviatrix). It follows two brothers from 1960s' Westside of Long Beach, Alfred and Enrique Esparza. Addicted to racing, they also competed nearby at Lions Drag Strip, a legendary track in Southern California. The film is out now on Prime Video.
