Ren Kennedy

Ren Kennedy, née Karen Kennedy, began her performing career at an 8 years of age, when she sang in front of her school and received her first wash of applause. She was hooked, and from then until now has pursued nearly every facet of performance. She graduated with her Bachelor of Music degree in Opera performance From the Vancouver Academy of Music. She has sung Opera, Music Theatre, acted in various stage productions and is working as a professional actress in Vancouver, BC. She has been fortunate to be cast as wonderfully multi-faceted, fascinating women and she has had the best teachers, guides and mentors surrounding her, including the incomparable Shea Hampton. Ren has added screenwriter to her many hats and will be co-directing her first project in 2016. Ren divides her time between the Canada and USA and is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA (SAG-e). Ren is constantly furthering her reach to be counted as an actor/writer/singer of International excellence. She feels incredibly blessed to do the things she loves... The Higher The Fewer!
