Tameka Bob is the true definition of a Southern Girl. Born in Savannah, Georgia, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Raised in a single-parent home, she watched her mother work long hours and simultaneously pursue a college degree, all in an effort to provide for her and her brother. Led by her mother's example, Tameka went on to earn a Bachelor of Science - Psychology, Master of Education - Counselor Education, and a Doctor of Philosophy - Counselor Education. After many years of Counseling practice, she followed her dream and began writing & performing. Tameka is an actress, speaker, screenwriter and playwright. As an actress, she landed her very first supporting role as "Tray" in the Lifetime movie Racing for Time, directed by Charles S. Dutton (Roc). She proceeded to nab a recurring role in the HBO drama Treme, as Cheri Lambreaux. Her stage credits include, but are not limited to, Women of Brewster Place and Dreamgirls. As a writer, Tameka has several stage productions and films under her belt. She also created and hosts her very own talk show "Dr. Bob's Real Reality." Tameka seeks to educate and encourage women of all ages and nationalities, with intuition and experience as her sole teacher.
