Jamie Shelton was born in Manchester, England. He attended Newall Green High School from 2001 to 2006 where he started acting from the age of 13. His first televised role was for a Chase and Status Music video called Blind Faith. In 2012 he landed his first 2 major acting roles that came simultaneously. Those were, 'Emmerdale', playing regular Robbie Lawson and the feature film 'The Knife That Killed Me' (Universal), playing the Antagonist, 'Roth'. He was also in 'Irreversible'; A short film directed by Lewis Metcalfe and starring himself and Robert Emms. The film went on to win best UK short film at the 2013 Raindance Film Festival.
