Doug Casey is a world-renowned investor and author, whose book Crisis Investing was #1 on the New York Times best-seller list for 29 consecutive weeks. He has been a featured guest on hundreds of radio and TV shows, including David Letterman, Merv Griffin, Charlie Rose, Phil Donahue, Regis Philbin, Maury Povich, NBC News, and CNN; and has been the topic of numerous features in periodicals such as Time, Forbes, People, and the Washington Post. Mr. Casey, a graduate of Georgetown University, has served on the Board of Governors of Washington College, and as a Trustee of the Eugene B. Casey Foundation, Northwoods University and the Liberty Foundation. Casey Research also operates the Explorers' League, a membership organization dedicated to identifying and following the careers of the world's most successful professionals in the fields of mineral exploration and development. Mr. Casey has lived in seven countries and visited over 150, most of them several times. His main sport is polo, but he has been also active in skydiving, martial arts, scuba, auto racing, and competitive shooting in the past.
